Learn moves and tricks to perform in a playboat on whitewater.
Freestyle (or playboating) is where paddlers stay in one place on a wave, stopper, drop or hole to perform moves and tricks similar to skaters.
These tricks can include flips, spins and turns. Some playboaters can get their boats completely airborne for a short amount of time.
Green Star and Playboating
Green Star Canoe Club offers playboating trips throughout the year. Our paddlers are taught how to play on whitewater as soon as they are happy on it. As they advance, paddlers learn more advanced playboating skills.
