Canoe Slalom
A competitive sport, canoe slalom involves paddling through upstream and downstream gates.
Canoe Polo
Another competitive sport, canoe polo is basically basketball in boats. It combines ball and boat handling skills.
Freestyle
Freestyle, also referred to as play boating, is performing tricks or skills in one place. Play boating is usually performed on moving water in drops or waves.
River Running
River running, or white water running, is when paddlers go down a river. This can involve a day trip or repeated use of a section of river.
